Как можно установить Sagemath на Ubuntu?
Я пытался установить sagemath через командную строку, но столкнулся с проблемой. Я делаю что-то неправильно? У меня Ubuntu 13.10.

Я только видел этот пост сейчас, но PPA, похоже, не работает, я просто скачал последнюю двоичную версию Sage Math 6.1.1 и установил ее для всех пользователей (только я) на моем компьютере, используя символическую ссылку. Я использую Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty. Возможно, вы можете использовать облачную версию.

Мне удалось установить его на 64-битную свежую установку Ubuntu 14.04 с PPA. Однако я заменил apt-get на aptitude. То есть
sudo apt-add-repository -y ppa:aims/sagemath
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install sagemath-upstream-binary
Интересно, был ли трюк: а) 14.04 вместо 13.10, б) 64 бит (amd64) вместо 32 бит (i386), в) aptitude вместо apt-get или d ) время заживления всех ран.
