Поврежденный/etc/adduser.conf

Мой/etc/adduser.conf файл был поврежден:

$ less /etc/adduser.conf
"/etc/adduser.conf" may be a binary file. See it anyway?

Как я могу переустановить новую копию?

Кажется, существует 'чистая' копия в /usr/share/adduser/ каталог:

$ diff -s /usr/share/adduser/adduser.conf /etc/adduser.conf
Files /usr/share/adduser/adduser.conf and /etc/adduser.conf are identical

, таким образом, необходимо быть в состоянии просто заменить поврежденный этим

sudo cp /usr/share/adduser/adduser.conf /etc/adduser.conf
