How to stop booting to an old kernel версия?
My Ubuntu system keeps booting to an old kernel версия. I think I fiddled with it в while ago and can't фигурировал out how to just have it go back to booting to the latest версию installed.
When I boot it always шоу the grub2 меню and when I go into advanced I see kernel версия 53 at the top of the list and the following older versions below it: 52, 51, 50, 49 and 48. I can't choose anything обитал recent than 53.

UPDATE:
I found there is another small 255mb partition on my hard drive. I mounted it and did ls on it. It seems I have two installations of grub and the one being used is on this small partition. Нормальный Is this? What should I do to fix this?

Я зафиксировал его. Проблема состояла в том, что мой grub2 загрузчик операционной системы был на разделении, которое не было на самом деле организовано, когда операционная система была начата. Таким образом, grub2 не думал, что последнее ядро было доступно. Фиксация должна была не прокомментировать, что линия в моем/etc/fstab файле, чтобы организовать разделение загрузчика операционной системы во время операционного запуска в / загружает и затем удаляет справочник ботинка / на главном разделении операционной системы. Я также повторно установил grub2 после того, как это было полно. Я не знаю, почему мой/etc/fstab файл был испорчен, я предполагаю, что, должно быть, связывался с ним в какой-то момент или использовал инструмент, который связывался с ним.

управление: sudo update-grub может решить проблему, она должна переупорядочить ядерные записи в заказе вариантов.
