ошибка в редактировании resolv.conf

С корневым доступом я редактирую /etc/resolv.conf добавить nameserver 8.8.8.8. сохранить файл дает мне

"/etc/resolv.conf" E166: Can't open linked file for writing

У Вас есть идея? Я хочу отредактировать resolv.conf потому что склонный - добираются, обновление не работает.

РЕДАКТИРОВАНИЕ я использую 18.04 ОС LTS.
