Почему у хрома так много процессов с 1 вкладкой?

Я уже прочитал этот ответ , но в моем случае я озадачен тем, что только запуск chrome, с одной открытой вкладкой (google), даст мне следующий результат с ps -aux -aux | grep chrome:

На самом деле это не ответ на вопрос, почему Chrome запускает так много процессов, а скорее ответ, чтобы показать, что Chrome в целом использует больше ресурсов, чем другие браузеры. Я сравниваю Firefox с ним в качестве примера.

Веб-браузеры используют процессор и оперативную память при запуске. К сожалению, вы не только запускаете веб-браузер, но и запускаете плагины и т.д. Кроме того, многое зависит от программистов веб-браузеров в том, как они на самом деле работают в системе и что они чувствуют, что должны быть запущены в то же время.

Следующие примеры использования inxi (] одного из моих любимых инструментов для просмотра использования в системе) для просмотра использования процессора и оперативной памяти Chrome и Firefox в сравнении друг с другом.

Из примеров списка 1000 лучших загрузок процессора и оперативной памяти из inxi и обоих браузеров, имеющих 1 открытую вкладку. Из этих примеров видно, что Firefox использует немного больше центрального процессора, чем Chrome. Но мы также видим, что Chrome использует больше общей используемой оперативной памяти. Многое из этого на самом деле сводится к тому, какой браузер вы хотите использовать.
