TeamViewer 12 GUI не запускается после обновления до 17.10

я недавно обновил свой ПК от пикантной коварному, и кажется, что TeamViewer не работает больше.

я попытался запустить его из командной строки, но он не запускается.

похоже он не может соединиться с неким сервером, но я понятия не имею, как это исправить.
