Проблема с звуком HDMI на Ubuntu 17.10 работает на ПК с 2 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

Я установил проприетарный драйвер Nvidia 384.90, и он видит обе карты. Первая карта подключена к «умному» монитору Samsung (неуверенному модели) по HDMI. В Samsung встроен стеновой громкоговоритель JVL, подключенный оптическим кабелем. До Ubuntu 17.04 звук работал через HDMI. Параметры звука HDMI по-прежнему отображаются в звуке, павуконтроллере и alsamixer.

Звук по-прежнему отлично работает, когда этот компьютер загружается в Windows.

Прямо сейчас звук, выходящий на 17.10 (и 17.04), очень изменчив, затмевается, и вы даже не можете разобрать слова. Изменение задержки помогает, но не решает. ЗДЕСЬ ЯВЛЯЕТСЯ ОДНОЙ ВЕЩЕЙ: ЕСЛИ Я СОКРАЩАЮТ ЛАТУНУЮ ИЛИ УВЕЛИЧИТЬ ЭТО В ПАВУКОНТРОЛЕ, Я ПОЛУЧИТЬ НОРМАЛЬНЫЙ ЗВУК, пока НАСТРОЙКА ЛАТВИЙ НЕ БУДЕТ СБРОС (КАК НАПРАВЛЕНИЕ), но как только я перестаю ее менять и отпустите управление настройкой (установленным мышью ), возвращается прерывистый звук.

Любые идеи были бы оценены.
