Нвидиа после обновления 12.04 до 14.04

У меня пока что странное поведение от драйверов nvidia. Мои системные элементы, которые участвуют:

nvidia GTX 560
Two Screens
Ubuntu 14.04, fresh update from 12.04, 

Когда я выполняю sudo nvidia-settings и нажимаю на кнопку применить, никакие корректировки не выполняются. При закрытии nvidia-settings я получаю сообщение об ошибке в терминале:

Я также не получаю никаких идей из журналов:

dmesg | grep nvidia

Что-то всегда появляется снова в xorg.log:

[    33.178] (II) NVIDIA(GPU-0): Display (Samsung SyncMaster (DFP-0)) does not support NVIDIA

Редактировать: Что я пробовал до сих пор:

• Очистка драйверов nvidia и их переустановка
• удаление xorg.conf
• выполнение nvidia-xconfig

Правка 2: Просто пришла в голову идея: запустить игру с моего аккаунта Steam. Делая это, я получаю:

Could not find required OpenGL enty point 'glColorMaskIndexedEXT'! Either your video card is unsupported, or your OpenGL driver needs to be updated.
