Не удалось исправить неисправную систему пакетов

После того как мне (больно) удалось установить Skype на моем Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, я испытываю с тех пор несколько месяцев назад проблему с пакетами, которую я не могу исправить.

Я понимаю, что основной причиной является неудовлетворенная зависимость пакетов grub-efi-amd64 и grub-efi-amd64-signed, поэтому я попытался описать здесь Установить Skype на Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit , но проблема

Я не уверен, что устранение конфликтных пакетов устранит проблему, но я еще не сделал этого, так как я боюсь, что могу погубить свою систему, поскольку она загружена EFI и я загружаю его с GRUB. По той же причине я не пытался запускать sudo apt-get -u dist-upgrade, так как, возможно, конфликтующие пакеты могут быть автоматически удалены.

Хотелось бы узнать, были ли у других подобный опыт, а также возможные решения к этому.
