Не мог запустить “программное обеспечение updater”, центр программного обеспечения Ubuntu на Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Я не могу обновить свою систему Ubuntu 14.04, поскольку программное обеспечение updater не работает. Также я не могу выполнить центр программного обеспечения Ubuntu. Все эти проблемы возникли после того, как я пытался сделать частичное обновление своей системы. Я выполнил вышеупомянутые команды дважды, потому что в 1-й раз этому не удалось выбрать данные. Теперь также вопрос не решен, поскольку я все еще не могу открыть приложения.
