How do I get sound with an HDA card?
I have already updated ALSA схвати described in в related question and tried several other troubleshooting methods - nothing works. Here is my ALSA info: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=7fd485d04c15325cef2409397c7006bbfb92d300

После долгого поиска я нашел решение в здесь: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu / + source/alsa-driver / + ошибка/1525554
открытый alsa-base.conf как корень - например:
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
и добавляют следующие строки в конце файла
options snd-hda-intel single_cmd=1
options snd-hda-intel probe_mask=1
options snd-hda-intel model=basic
и перезапуска - для меня звуковые работы, превосходные теперь.
у Вас могла быть та же проблема в случае, если
dmesg | egrep -i "alsa|snd"
дает
snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1f.3: Никакой ответ от кодека, отключая MSI: последний cmd=0x000f0000
у меня есть Realtek ALC671 soundchip BTW. В системе это называют восходом солнца с skylake кодеком.
