Starting Ubuntu gives не screen on external graphics and не GUI on internal
I just installed Ubuntu 14 using Unetbootin on one of my harddrives (I have windows 7 and want двойственный Ubuntu to boot). When I started the installation of Ubuntu the screen went blank and got не видео signal. I thought that this was because I was running on my external graphics card so I opened BIOS and changed graphics card to the integrated one and everything worked умер.
The problem is that when i start Ubuntu with my external graphics card activated, I get the same эксперт in Unetbootin - не signal. If I start it with my internal graphics I get signal but it takes я to the терминал instead of the GUI. if i run startx it says
xauth: file /home/user/.Xauthority does not exist
at the top and the following at the bottom:
xinit: giving up
xinit: unable to connect to X server: Connection refused
xinit: server error
My external graphics card is в Nvidia GeForce GTX 970

Сначала активируйте внешнюю графику NVIDIA, затем установите собственные драйверы NVIDIA.
Выделение запись Ubuntu в меню начальной загрузки GRUB и нажатии E ключ.
Добавляют nouveau.modeset=0 до конца строки Linux - F10 нажатия для начальной загрузки.
На экранном нажатии входа в систему Ctrl + Высокий звук + F1 - входит, имя пользователя и пароль - тогда выполнитесь:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nvidia-352
sudo reboot
Примечание: В случае, если это не работает с nouveau.modeset=0 - пробуют его снова nomodeset.
В случае, если это все еще не работает, установите драйверы с активированной внутренней картой и активируйтесь
выделенный графический адаптер NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 970 после установки в BIOS.
