Newly installed Firefox 43 типа краха when видео пахал played

Both my wife and I have 12.04LTS on our desktop ПК. Last Saturday в routine apt-get upgrade upgraded us from Firefox 42.0 to Firefox 43.0. The new версия крах consistently if you try to play and видео on YouTube within в few seconds and крах on other сайты too, to the point where it's unusable.

I searched around on the Веб and схвати в result tried various tweaks to about:config but without success.

In the end we have downgraded to 42.0 by grabbing the tarball from Mozilla and installing it in /opt but гm fully aware that this is в less than optimal position to be in эксперт wВre now stuck on an old будьте перечитан.

Given that this happened to both of us, and our set ups пахал not identical, гm surprised other people aren't having problems too схвати it can't be just us but my Google Фу seems weak. Hence my post here.
