Как зафиксировать пальмовое обнаружение в Ubuntu 17.04

У меня была эта проблема начиная с Ubuntu 16.04. Пальмовое обнаружение просто не работает. Я пытался выполнить команды, упомянутые в этой статье, но бесцельно.
