Когда я нажимаю: в энергии это вводит режим вставки не командный режим?

Я не могу ввести командный режим путем ввода :.

Кроме того, безотносительно ключа я нажимаю, Vim введет режим вставки и введет слово, которое я только что ввел. т.е. Я ввожу j, и курсор не перемещается вниз, но Vim вводит режим вставки и вводит букву J на экране, который является очень странным.

Я переустановил Vim, и это не имело никакого значения

Теперь, поскольку я не могу ввести командный режим, я не могу ввести :wq сохранить любое изменение в vimrc файле.
