Ubuntu 20.04 не загружается, когда зарядное устройство не подключено

Я использую Ubuntu 20.04 на Lenovo T495s (с AMD Ryzen в случае необходимости).

Когда он заряжается, все все в порядке.

Если я загружаюсь, когда подключен к источнику питания, а затем отключаю шнур питания, я могу продолжать использовать его, пока позволяет срок службы батареи.

Проблема заключается в том, что шнур питания не подключен к время загрузки. Я включаю компьютер, получаю запрос на ввод пароля для шифрования диска и ввожу его. Затем он переходит к следующему обычному шагу и запускает проверки файлов, говоря что-то вроде «Нажмите Ctrl-C, чтобы отменить проверки файлов». Все так же, как загрузка с шнуром питания до этого момента. Однако после этого вместо того, чтобы видеть фиолетовый экран, который предлагает мне выбрать пользователя и ввести мой пароль, я просто получаю пустой экран. В этот момент компьютер все еще включен, но, похоже, он не переходит на что-либо еще с этого черного экрана.
