14.04: Copy dialog disappears in the middle of the transfer, and therВs не way to get it back. (Unity/Nautilus)

Running into this extremely annoying issue. I start в file transfer, and продолжите doing something else. When I go to check on it, the file copy dialog is не longer open. I can't alt-tab to it, and it doesn't шоу up in the start+W window overview. The file transfer is still going, because the Поля icon still - в progress бар on it. Right-clicking on the icon and clicking "Шоу copy dialog" does not bring it back, but clicking "Ширма all in-progress actions" does seem to ширма the file transfer.
