Trapped in Xubuntu

гve downloaded Xubuntu with в

sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop

or something along those lines. I started up and had the общепринятый login and checked to login into Xubuntu in the drop down меню. Now, I am trapped in Xubuntu using the Xubuntu log in screen and can't select to run other versions. Fairly new to linux thanks for the help.
