Моей беспроводной сети нет в списке [скрытая сеть]
Моя домашняя беспроводная сеть указана как скрытая сеть, и каждый раз, когда я вхожу в систему, мне приходится подключать ее вручную. Ее нет в списке беспроводных подключений. Я могу только подключите его, выбрав вариант «Подключиться к скрытой беспроводной сети». У меня не было никаких проблем с 12.04.

Во-первых, я должен предупредить вас, что скрытая беспроводная сеть оказалась даже более уязвимой, чем обычное беспроводное соединение, и ручная оценка есть причина. Поэтому я предлагаю вам перенастроить свой маршрутизатор, чтобы он не был скрыт.
Конечно, есть обходной путь, чтобы избежать надоедливой ручной оценки, если вы настаиваете на использовании скрытого соединения. Просто откройте nm-connection-editor и снимите флажок «Доступно для всех пользователей». Тогда сетевой менеджер должен иметь возможность автоматического подключения.

Отображается ли SSID вашей сети, если вы выполняете сканирование вручную?
- Узнайте имя беспроводного интерфейса
iwconfig
Выходные данные должны быть похожи на
$ iwconfig
eth0 no wireless extensions.
wlan0 IEEE 802.11abg ESSID:"..."
Mode:Managed Frequency:... GHz Access Point: ...
- Сканирование сетей и показывать только основанные SSID (замените wlan0 именем вашего интерфейса)
sudo iw dev wlan0 scan | grep SSID
Вывод должен быть похож на
