после обновления до 12.04 capitel EVDO модем не работает

У меня есть модем BSNL EVDO, который отлично работал на Ubuntu 10.10, 11.04 и 11.10. Вчера после обновления до 12.04 через менеджер обновлений он не работает и даже не обнаруживается в сетевом менеджере. Я скачал ISO (64 бит) и попробовал новую установку после форматирования раздела, без эффекта.

Я удивлен, что обновление сломало его, пожалуйста, помогите !!!!

PS :: протестировал и убедился, что он все еще работает нормально на windows
