Общая проблема: Нет звука, не могу уменьшить яркость. lspci прилагается
Я установил Ubuntu Lucid в свою лапку (Compaq CQ42 173TU), прежде чем с Wubi проблемы со звуком и яркостью все еще были. Я думал, что это проблема из-за установки через Wubi.
Так что я снова установил его из Boot. Но проблема сохраняется. Нет звука вообще, но ОС кажется, что у него вообще нет проблем.
И еще, я не могу уменьшить яркость. Апплет яркости говорит: «Невозможно получить яркость панели ноутбука» ..

Это не тот ответ, который мне нравится, но вы можете попробовать 10.10 livecd. По ссылкам ниже показано, что ваш чипсет обычно поддерживается, но я не вижу сертифицированной модели вашего ноутбука. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-audio-dev/ppa
sudo apt-get update
