Это очень странная проблема. У меня установлена Ubuntu 10.10 x64 на компьютере, и через несколько минут каждое устройство PS / 2 (точнее, мышь и клавиатура) перестает работать.

Вы, скорее всего, страдаете от известной ошибки , которая, кажется, существует уже некоторое время. Я сам страдал от этой ошибки в Lucid, но обновление до Maverick исправило ее для меня.
Я нашел один возможный обходной путь для меня, который позволил предотвратить его зависание 9 из 10 раз. Я просто вошел в сеанс Gnome-Failsafe сразу после загрузки, подождал там одну минуту, а затем смог войти в свой обычный сеанс без зависания устройств PS / 2.
В конце, похоже, проблема с X, потому что я мог нормально работать с терминалом (tty), но в тот момент, когда я переключился на сеанс X, устройства снова зависли.
