Ошибка открытия ttyUSB: ошибка ввода / вывода

Я пытаюсь использовать USB-ключ TI CC2531 для беспроводного прослушивания. При подключении его к моему ноутбуку изначально не создавался интерфейс ttyUSB, я решил эту проблему, запустив

sudo modprobe ftdi_sio
sudo sh -c "echo 0451 16ae > /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/ftdi_sio/new_id"

, где 0451 и 16ae - идентификаторы поставщика и продукта соответственно. Когда я пытаюсь его прошить, я получаю следующую ошибку:

Я пытался использовать setserial для установки значений UART, порта и IRQ, но это не имеет никакого эффекта. Что я могу сделать?
