тотем падает, & mdash; mplayer работает отлично

Глядя, чтобы воспроизвести видео с тотемом, но экран не реагирует и показывает кнопку принудительного выхода:

Сначала запускается тотем, а затем выбирается только видео. пустой экран. Кажется довольно маловероятным, чтобы быть ошибкой - ничто не играет в тотем. Mplayer работает отлично. Я могу очистить и переустановить. Ничего на странице man, касающейся подробного вывода или отладки, которые я видел.
