Черный экран после загрузки с драйверами Nvidia и повреждением экрана BIOS

У меня старый ноутбук Rock x770 (clevo M57RU) с видеокартой nvidia GTX7950go, Intel Core2duo 2,4 ГГц.

Я запускаю xubuntu 14:04 с драйверами Nvidia 304 с момента его появления, без проблем. Недавно я внезапно начал видеть вертикальные ряды белых точек на экране BIOS, и он загрузился бы в черный экран. Переходя к терминалу tty и просматривая журналы X, я вижу, что Xserver аварийно завершает работу с "(EE) Пойманным сигналом 11 (Ошибка сегментации). Сервер прерывается".

Я могу заставить его работать, используя nomodeset в строке загрузки grub. и с использованием драйверов Nouveau, но только при низком разрешении 1280 x 1024 (собственное разрешение - 1920x1200), как только я переключаюсь на драйверы nvidia из приложения Дополнительные драйверы обратно на черный экран, даже после новой установки. Если я отключу nomodeset с драйверами Nouveau, он попадет на экран входа в систему, но будет сильно поврежден и зависнет.

Перепробовал множество предложений по деинсталляции и переустановке различных драйверов и пакетов X. Пробовал xrandr переключать режимы, но это не дает эффекта в режиме низкого разрешения / нуво, только краткое мерцание и сообщение Configure crtc 0 failed.

Попытки новой переустановки 14.04 и 16.04 безрезультатно, всегда ограничены nomodeset и low res с драйверами Nouveau. Его больше не используют для 3d или игр, поэтому он был бы рад водителям Nouveau, если бы мог получить полное разрешение.

Из того, что я исследовал, одна вероятная возможность состоит в том, что повреждение экрана BIOS указывает на то, что видеокарта вышла из строя и может работать только в базовом режиме VGA с низким разрешением.

Только обновить в случае, если полезный для кого-либо еще.

оказалось, что это был аппаратный отказ с видеокартой, таким образом, я попробовал метод выпекания духовки, описанный в ссылке разгонщиков, и это работало!! Графика теперь весь OK. 10 минут в газовой метке 5 добились цели

    @tatsu, don' t формат перед окончанием работы восстановления . Сделайте как можно меньше с диском.
