Ошибка: установка или удаление программного обеспечения packgae привели 14.04 LTS к сбою

Я плохо знаком с Ubuntu (14.04 LTS) и ценю любую справку. У менеджера по обновлению, кажется, есть проблема, но никакое определенное сообщение об ошибке не дано, только упомянутое вышеупомянутое. Я взглянул через подобные потоки здесь, но они все имеют дело с определенной проблемой.. Я пытался обновить через терминал, но все еще никакой успех. Еще раз спасибо за любые предложения!
