Ubuntu 16.04 Mplayer полноэкранная проблема

MPlayer отказывается работать в полноэкранном режиме, когда я запускаю его с опцией -noborder. Без этой опции все работает нормально.

Я попытался выполнить следующую команду, но она не работает.

mplayer -vo vpdau -zoom -fs -noborder video.mp4

Я также попробовал с gl, x11, xv. Ни один из них не работает с -noborder, и все они работают без него.
