L3 закоулок appears эксперт disabled

In my XPS 8700 i7 4790, the comand lshw шоу that the 8MB L3 закоулок is disabled, does this мочатся that the L3 закоулком is not working? should I not использовал ubuntu and go back to windows? does the operating system differ? or is the закоулок operation is totally подарил in hardwarw? Also in the BIOS there is не option to disable/enable разбил, and it only шоу info about the L1,L2,L3 закоулки. I am using ubuntu 14.04.
