Проблемы с Wi-Fi на ноутбуке Gnome 16.10 Asus

Просто получил новый worklaptop и пытались в течение двух дней получить работу Wi-Fi..

Я принял решение бросить поиск и попросить у Вас справки, потому что я попробовал все виды решений, напрасно.

Последней вещью, которую я попробовал, является символьная ссылка от нового драйвера в/lib/firmware к более старому, потому что это пыталось загрузить другой драйвер, который еще не был загружен.

https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/iwlwifi/core_release производит впечатление, что версия, которую хочет мой ноутбук, является более новой, чем, что выпускается как стабильное.
