модемный менеджер с Quectel EC21

Я выполняю Ядро Ubuntu на Вычислительном модуле Raspberry Pi 3 (и плата IO) и имею модем LTE Quectel EC21, подключенный к нему через USB. Я изо всех сил пытаюсь заставить это работать.

После руководства по сайту документов Ядра Ubuntu я вижу, что модем обнаруживается:

$ sudo modem-manager.mmcli -L

И я вижу некоторую хорошую информацию об этом:

Но, если я делаю что-то как ping с помощью ppp интерфейс, я ничего не получаю:

$ sudo ping -I ppp0 8.8.8.8

Что я должен сделать для получения работы интерфейса WWAN?

На самом деле это было довольно просто в конце - все, что я должен был сделать, был, удаляют шлюз по умолчанию через Ethernet. Я не уверен почему мой связывать адрес для ping не работал, но так или иначе это работает после того, как я работал:

$ sudo ip route delete default via 192.168.30.254

(где тот IP был моим шлюзом по умолчанию для LAN, я иду),

Теперь Quectel EC21 автоматически соединяется! Учитывая отсутствие полезной документации от Quectel, это удивило меня довольно много - но там Вы идете.
