xps -13 обновление до 20.04
Существует ли поддерживаемый способ обновления Dell XPS-13 9370 с LTS 18.04 до 20.04? Конечно, я хотел бы, чтобы все мои драйверы устройств и установленные приложения не ломались в результате.

Вы можете обновить Ubuntu 20.04 LTS до любой из Ubuntu 18.04 LTS или Ubuntu 19.10.
FWIW. Установка (не обновление) Xubuntu 20.04 на мой Dell XPS-13 9365 завершилась безупречно. Чтобы быть на стороне сохранения, я решил сохранить свою предыдущую Ubuntu вместе с оригинальной Windows в разделах 4,5 и установить 20.04 в раздел 6.

HW поддержка XPS 13 включена из коробки. Все работает, кроме отпечатка пальца ( поддерживается , но я не нашел никакого графического интерфейса в Xfce). Ядро 5.4 отличное. Средняя температура ядра упала на 10-20 градусов! Мой рабочий стол Xubuntu 19.10 работал в среднем на 60-70 градусов. Температура ядра теперь ниже 40 градусов C в режиме ожидания и 50 градусов C при 30% -ной загрузке процессора (Cooler Master pad; комнатная температура 20 C).

У меня был XPS-13 9370 с установленной версией 18.04, я случайно установил версию 19, и мне предложили обновить ее до версии 20.04, которая теперь работает на ноутбуке более или менее нормально.
Кто-нибудь может объяснить, как добавить обновления прошивки Dell?
