HDMI Belkin к адаптеру VGA, не отображающемуся / не обнаруженный

Я купил HDMI Belkin к адаптеру VGA (также несет Аудио). Я запускаю Ubuntu 16.04 (Gnome) на 15-дюймовом MacBook Pro В конце Модели 2013 года (DMI: Apple Inc. MacBookPro11,3/Mac-2BD1B31983FE1663, BIOS MBP112.88Z.0138. B17.1602221600 02/22/2016).

Когда я включаю адаптер к своему порту HDMI, экраны кратко выключают (поскольку он обнаруживает новый вывод, как обычно), но позже экран не работает, он просто засыпает. Настройки дисплея гнома, а также xrandr не обнаруживают подарка дисплея на порте HDMI.
