Обновление Lubuntu до 13.04 убито звуком с помощью ALSA. Как устранить неполадки?

После обновления до 13.04 с 12.10 Lubuntu потерял воспроизведение звука после отключения USB-звуковой карты (Polycom) и ее подключения обратно. Регулятор громкости был серым и приводил к импульсуаудио-микшер (не установлен), поэтому я удалил пакет pulseaudio. Я также удалил и переустановил пакет alsa-base. После перезапуска у меня alsamixer возвращается все как обычно (громкость 100%, без звука), но каждая звуковая программа выдает мне ошибки, независимо от того, какое устройство я выберу.

ОБНОВЛЕНИЕ: Я удалил звуковую карту usb и избавился от всех настроек alsa. Все работает так же, как и до установки, но оно выглядит хрупким.
