Я установил xfce4-микшер, и он видит HDA Intel MID и HDA Intel PCH. Я установил его на PCH после того, как я видел, что MID наиболее вероятен просто разъем SPDIF.

MPlayer Gnome, будет казаться, будет "играть" аудио очень хорошо, но никакой звук не выходит. Попытка играть видео дала ошибку и дросселировала* система. VLC дает ошибку для любого и дросселирует* системное видео проигрывания. Ошибкой является   отказавший Аудиовыход:   аудиоустройство "значение по умолчанию" не могло использоваться:   Никакой такой файл или каталог.

* дроссель означает, что система, выполненная мучительно медленный, и пытающийся уничтожить незаконную задачу, была болезненным упражнением в терпении.
