Монитор DisplayPort внезапно повреждается
Я выполняю Kubuntu 13.10, и все было хорошо целую вечность. Я думаю, что некоторое недавнее обновление имеет borked мои X конфигураций, и я понятия не имею, как зафиксировать его.
У меня есть ноутбук Dell с монитором Dell на порте дисплея, присоединенном к нему. Все было великим (с последними драйверами Nvidia), пока я не перезагрузил за выходные, и почернели оба экрана.
Отключите DisplayPort, пружины монитора ноутбука в жизнь.
Разъем на пути HDMI, они оба работа (все быть этим с большим внешним монитором в более низком, чем оптимальное разрешение).
Журналы показывают, что монитор распознается на порте дисплея, и ps -A на текстовом терминале, в то время как графический терминал является черным выставочным плазменным рабочим столом и всеми приложениями, работающими счастливо, я просто не вижу их.
Я нахожусь на Xorg/edgies ppa, но возвращение к запасу Nvidia и Xorg не внесло изменения в признаки.

Больше информации: мне теперь удалось получить монитор, работающий снова разность потенциалов, но ТОЛЬКО ЕСЛИ мне включили dvi кабель также и последующий монитор, отключенный в nvidi-конфигурации.
Как только я отключаю dvi, он возвращается к пустому экрану.

Оказывается, что удаление xorg.conf не устранило проблему, но удаляющий .kde сделал. Я понятия не имею, что это находится в .kde, который вызвал проблему, но кажется, что Nvidia изменила способ, которым они делают много поддержку монитора в управлении настроек Nvidia, которое может объяснить его. Теперь оба монитора установлены на различный экран, и затем Xinerama можно включить (ранее, Вы просто включили Xinerama, и это заботилось об экранах для Вас). Я не знаю, является ли это тем, что вызвало проблему, но это могло быть.
единственная проблема - то, что у меня теперь есть панель через нижнюю часть второго экрана, который я не имел, прежде чем это зеркально отражает то, что продолжает основной. Я не был игрой для удаления его все же.
