Не удается подключить монитор с помощью VGA-кабеля Ubuntu 18.04.3

Мой ноутбук ( Dell Latitude e5270 ) не может быть подключен к монитору с помощью кабеля VGA (HDMI хорошо работает). Если я подключу его, ничего не произойдет; Я могу использовать только встроенный экран (или любой монитор HDMI, к которому я подключаю его).

Этот VGA-монитор сам по себе работает, так как я использую его с другими устройствами, и он отлично подключается через кабель. Я думаю, что мой ноутбук без проблем подключился к монитору VGA в версии Ubuntu 17.
