Cannot instal MP495 Canon on Ubuntu 14.04

гm trying to install MP495 on my computer and гve tried 2 approaches:
гve added the Девисе Ури (found on my модем) however when I try to print в page, the printer is not responding

гve installed both the scanner and printer драйвер. Still doesn't work.

libtiff4. Загрузите libtiff4 от http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/t/tiff3/ . Я загрузилlibtiff4_3.9.7-2ubuntu1_amd64.deb. -
Открывают Terminal с Ctrl + Высокий звук + T . Перейдите туда, где загруженные файлы:
cd ~/Downloads -
Установка
libtiff4:sudo dpkg -i libtiff4_3.9.7-2ubuntu1_amd64.deb -
Извлечение архив tar:
tar zxvf mp495series-3.40-1-deb.tar.gz cd cnijfilter-mp495series-3.40-1-deb/packages -
Установка Canon общий пакет и пакет MP495:
sudo dpkg -i cnijfilter-common_3.40-1_amd64.deb cnijfilter-mp495series_3.40-1_amd64.deb
