как обновить/etc/resolv.conf в человечности

Я внес изменения в "/etc/reslov.conf" и хочу к изменениям вступить в силу. Я попробовал после этого, но все еще никакого эффекта

$ sudo su

root@accretive-new32GB-ephimeral-new:/home/ubuntu# exit

root@accretive-new32GB-ephimeral-new:/home/ubuntu# resolvconf -u
root@accretive-new32GB-ephimeral-new:/home/ubuntu# exit

root@accretive-new32GB-ephimeral-new:/home/ubuntu# service resolvconf restart
resolvconf stop/waiting
resolvconf start/running
