Тусклый How do you install 1.10 from source?

I have been trying to install тусклый 1.10. For several days. The ppa (s) give я 404 errors, and just don't work. the source packages give я an intertwined mess of dependency errors, missing m4 макросы, cant install ящик, before installing мат - desktop. Cant install мат - desktop, because some other thing isn't exactly right.

Sadly, I haven't found в single install from source instruction any нравится on the мат - desktop сайт. Perhaps I am missing it? I want the updated версия of тусклая, and тусклый utilities, because they have added features for things I have installed other программное обеспечение which I am not satisfied with. For example, E-book-reader, to read epub поля, where in мат 1.10, пюпитр allows you to now read epub поля. what is it гm missing? I understand мат 1.10 isn't in в repo, thats not what I am asking. How хан I install мат 1.10 from GIT hub source on ubuntu 14.04 убил edition? I have looked at the git hub repos, but I have not found installation instructions.
