UPDATE: модем работает из коробки с Ubuntu 16.04!

HP lt4112 LTE / HSPA + Gobi 4G модем (Huawei ME906E, M.2 => USB)

«Ethernet-модуль», но не широкополосный модем. Я пробовал много вещей, и как только окно просило, чтобы SIM случайно всплыла. Я вошел в него, все правильно появилось в сетевом менеджере, я мог подключиться и использовать LTE-сеть от Ubuntu. После перезапуска все исчезло, с тех пор он не мог воспроизвести.

Этот модем не работает с серийным, но только wdm, насколько мне известно.

Что странно: нет cdc_ * устройство под / dev! Итак, всякая магия с qmicli и т. Д. Не может быть проверена.

Сам ПК (HP EliteBook 745) немного придирчив. Он нуждался в дополнительных настройках ядра, чтобы сделать даже работу WLAN ...

Это всегда неправильно, даже когда это происходит! Но вы регистрируете, что драйвер qcserial успешно связывается, поэтому здесь нет проблем.

Проблема в моей ситуации действительно заключалась в том, что устройство рассматривается как устройство USB0 ethernet. когда я изменил QCSERIAL.C, это будет разрешено, и устройство может быть использовано из сетевого менеджера в GUI.

Я работал над Ubuntu 14.04.2 и 15.04. Надеюсь, это поможет кому-то понять, в чем проблема, и исправить ее.

Не забудьте вставить SIM-карту, иначе устройство не появится в NetworkManager. В 15.04 он отображается как «не включен».
